Congratulations on your 2024 Canadian Screen Award nomination!

Nominees will be celebrated during Canadian Screen Week 2024, taking place in Toronto from Sunday, May 26 to Saturday, June 1, with the Canadian Screen Awards in film, television, and digital media being handed out live at the CBC Broadcast Centre from Tuesday, May 28 to Friday, May 31, 2024.

The 2024 Canadian Screen Awards, hosted by Mae Martin, will air on CBC and CBC Gem on Friday, May 31 at 8:00 (9:00 AT / 9:30 NT).

NOMINEES WHO ARE VOTING MEMBERS OF THE ACADEMY:

may order one non-transferable, complimentary ticket to the awards ceremony where they are nominated; AND

may purchase one additional ticket at a discounted rate (see rates below).

NOMINEES WHO ARE NOT CURRENT VOTING MEMBERS OF THE ACADEMY:

May purchase a voting membership and order the complimentary ticket; OR

May purchase a maximum of two tickets at the discounted rate (see rates below).

The Academy provides subsidies for membership fees to underrepresented professionals in the screen industry. Membership includes complimentary access to all year-round programming and, as a nominee, allows for a free single ticket booking under the “Nominee Member” rate. Please note: ALL nominees and their guests are required to have a ticket for each event they attend, including the show at which their award will be presented. For all events requiring a ticket, please be sure to book your tickets with the box office team and have your digital ticket(s) on hand for the event(s).

Venue Information.

The 2024 Canadian Screen Awards will be presented at the CBC Broadcast Centre in Toronto from
Tuesday, May 28 to Friday, May 31, 2024.

GETTING THERE

CBC Broadcast Centre
250 Front Street West
Toronto, ON M5V 3G5

The CBC Broadcast Centre is easily accessible by car, TTC, GO Transit, and UP Express.

A short drive northeast of the Spadina Street exit off Lakeshore Boulevard/Gardiner Expressway.

Those taking transit can reach the CBC Broadcast Centre with a short walk southwest of St. Andrew Station or a short walk west from Union Station.

PARKING

The CBC Broadcast Centre has no onsite parking available.

Public parking can be found at several lots in the local area, including at:
• 200 Front St. W, public lot just east of the CBC Broadcast Centre
• 306 Front St. W public lot just west of the CBC Broadcast Centre
• 315 Front St. W – Parking Indigo, public lot just west of the CBC Broadcast Centre

Venue Accessibility.

All building entrances are sized appropriately for accessibility and have push-button, self-opening features.

PARKING FOR PATRONS WITH DISABILITIES

While there is no onsite parking, there is limited space on adjoining streets for parking (in accordance with city by-laws) for those with accessibility parking permits.

Dress Code.

Formal, Semi-Formal or Black Tie Optional is encouraged.

Gold Carpet.

The Academy welcomes all nominees to have their photo taken on the Gold Carpet throughout the Canadian Screen Awards shows. The Gold Carpet will be located in the reception area and will be open to nominees during the pre-Awards cocktail reception.

In order to commemorate this special occasion for as many nominees as possible within a limited timeframe, there will be additional photo opportunities set up in the reception area for nominees to capture additional group photos with invited guest(s) at their leisure.
