Moonshine is a raucous, one-hour dramedy that tells the story of the Finley-Cullens, a dysfunctional clan of adult half-siblings battling for control of the ancestral business, The Moonshine, a ramshackle summer resort, two stars on a good day –and that day was in 1979. It’s an epic tale of lust, legacy and lobster, set against the backdrop of financial hardship, insane tourists, small-town intrigue and a long-buried secret that threatens to annihilate the Finley-Cullens once and for all.

Oscar Peterson: Black + White delves into the seven-decade career of the jazz master; from his days as a child prodigy in Montreal, to the development of his signature sound on recordings with his trio, and from collaborations with the legends of his era to his brilliant solo performances around the world — as well as his tenacious experiences confronting racism and segregation while touring the United States, which culminated with his epic composition, “Hymn to Freedom.”

We Know the Truth: Stories to Inspire Reconciliation is a CBC Manitoba documentary that recasts Canada’s history and future through the empowerment of Indigenous people. Meet Indigenous people who are telling the true history of Canada and residential schools, and creating change on their own terms. Reflect with residential school survivors, and be inspired by those who are working hard to keep their culture and languages alive.
