Synopsis:

Canadian neuroscience researcher Anthony Morgan is having a bad hair day. On the other side of the country, Sarika Cullis-Suzuki is locked in a battle with her brush. The rest of us can relate. According to a recent survey, we struggle with “bad hair days” more than a week out of every month. Is DNA destiny? Or can new science provide hope for our follicles’ fate? In this entertaining doc, our hosts take us on a hair-raising journey, from the salon to the zoo to their parents’ living room, to reveal the surprising research at the root of it all––from going grey to going bald. Along the way, they untangle new information that suggests the science of hair is anything but cut and dry. Will this Hairy Tale have a happy ending?
