Synopsis:
Set in Toronto at the dawn of the 20th century, Murdoch Mysteries is a one-hour drama series that explores the intriguing world of William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson), a methodical and dashing detective who pioneers innovative forensic techniques to solve some of the city’s most gruesome murders.
Episode Synopsis:
It's the morning of the murder trial of Black Hand henchman Frank Rhodes and Murdoch is convinced they can finally get a conviction. Ogden is relieved the threat to their family will finally be thwarted. But when Murdoch gets to the stationhouse to intercept the key witness, Nigel Bent, the man is extremely jittery and suddenly collapses dead. Murdoch and Brackenreid suspect possible poisoning, but Hart needs to do extensive bloodwork to confirm it. The Crown Attorney delays the trial for 24-hours to regroup just as Murdoch suddenly starts experiencing signs of unsteadiness and possible delusion.
