W5: The Laundromat

Synopsis:

The most-watched newsmagazine report of the TV season, with in excess of a million viewers, W5 reveals the scale of money laundering in British Columbia. Told exclusively through the story of a whistleblower and deep investigation into an illegal bank that was laundering a billion dollars a year in illicit cash, W5‘s reporting led, in part, to the BC government ordering a public inquiry into the province’s money laundering problem.
