CBC’s Olympic coverage runs 24/7 for 16 days and is distributed across multiple platforms. To provide around the clock coverage the day is broken into 4 large blocks and each is produced by a different team sharing coverage philosphy, resources, on site personnel overseas and specialized staff to maintain a consistent quality of broadcast for more than 300 consecutive hours.
