Based on the website of the same name, The Beaverton Television series is presented matter-of-factly, by actors playing newscasters, filing fake stories informed by real events, the cultural zeitgeist and our national newsmedia. At its heart, it’s a sketch/variety show that uses the prism of fake news to highlight the absurdity of the Canadian condition.
